Common Questions
How many tubers will I receive?
Depends on the plant. The most tubers I got off a clump last year was 26. The average is 7 tubers. We will typically keep 1 to 2 tubers to replant in our u-pick and then send the rest to you.
What happens if there are no viable tubers or the tubers don't survive storage?
This is pretty rare but in that case we would of course either refund your money or allow you to adopt another dahlia instead.
Will my dahlia look exactly the same as the photo?
Generally yes. Dahlias can have color variations based on temperature and day length. Seedlings are also genetically unstable. That means they can sometimes change slightly in their first few generations of growth. The most common change is slightly differences in petal appearance or petal count.
Will dahlias grow in my climate?
Dahlias can be successfully grown in all of the United States.
