Holy black foliage Batman! I have never seen foliage like this in a dahlia. It is pitch, matte black like it's been spray painted. The blooms look like neon magenta hand brushed on white with a dark center.

This over 2", purple, single dahlia was introduced by Paul Bloomquist. The American Dahlia Society classifies this as a 9609  S PR.
