Holy moly. This waterlily is a HOT red. Definitely no blue undertone on this red, you'll notice a yellow glow in the flower center. Definitely not a perfect waterlily form, I'd call it more informal decorative.

This red, waterlily, over 2" dahlia was introduced by E. & J. Frater in 1997. The American Dahlia Society classifies this as a 7306 and color chip RD17.
